Mishka

Mishka is one of the mares we rescued from the meat works after being sold through the Echuca Victoria sales!

Mishka's race name was Feline Happy, giving her all for her owner and trainer. She won races, she did her best... but somewhere along the line she found herself at Echuca sales with many other horses of all different breeds and backgrounds and there just wasn’t enough homes. She was sold for the price of her flesh.

She is young, beautiful, with her whole life ahead of her but she found herself facing her demise for no other reason than “too many horses not enough homes”.

Mishka is now safe forever - she will never be sold to any meat works. She will live a life without any cares or worries and just enjoy being a horse!
