Freddie

For adoption - Freddie is a 12 year old TB gelding who was rescued from the knackery in December last year.

He was in emaciated condition but gained weight super well however he didn’t pass his assessment under saddle. Freddie would collapse when the girth was done up. Chiropractic and body work saw no improvement so Freddie was assessed by West Vets (full report is available).

Freddie underwent radiographs of his back and feet.

It was established that he had an old pelvic injury involving sacroiliac region and pelvic ring. This saw him completely sound as a paddock companion however not suitable for riding.

Therefore this gorgeous boy is looking for a forever home as a companion horse only. He doesn’t require any special medication.

Freddie would suit liberty or clicker training or just to live his life chilling in the paddock with a paddock buddy.

He is the sweetest boy with an amazing temperament and personality. He is up to date with dental and vet work and is ready to go to his new loving home.

Freddie’s adoption fee is $200 under life time adoption contract
